How can i use kannel to get messages from various clients over SMPP running SMPP Server in kannel ?

Dear Friends,

Would expect a few inputs from Kannel experts.Have the following queries :-

Does kannel support SMPP Server Functionality ? ( If yes, does it allow 
multiple client support ?)
Do we have any specific doccument explaining the SMPP Implementation 
Architecture in kannel ?
