Hello All, I am using kannel 1.4.1 on a centOS system.I am facing this problem of receiving spl characters for quite some time now.
What is happening is kannel is somehow converting special characters (square brackets []) into some other value which when finally reached the recipient, is unreadable. First, I was having this problem with @ sign, but that has been resolved by adding alt-charset to HPROMAN8 in kannel.conf. What is the way to receive to spl characters like [],$,` etc from kannel? Any help would be appreciated. Stip: Can u suggest any permanent solution, I have searched internet for this but no solution. Thanks Ashwani Kumar
