hi, anyone know of a complete list of valid international phone formats? i have lists of country codes and mobile prefixes on wikipedia, but for example, in australia:

country code: 61
mobile prefix: 4
valid phone number: 614xx xxx xxx

and in united kingdom:

country code: 44
mobile prefix: 77, 78, 79
valid phone number: 447[7|8|9]xx xxx xxx (is this correct??)

ie. is it always 2 digit country code followed by the mobile prefix followed by 8 digits?

cheers

iain

Hello,

There is no general rules for country/mobile prefixes. Eeach country may have different. You have to specify rules for every country separately.

true, you can see here

note: In UK now, there are also 4475 and 4476 valid mobile prefixes

Kind Regards
