Hi Jovan, Thanks for replying,
By looking more closely I found out that the port I declared in my smsc config is wrong. I suppose I have it right right now for then my bearerbox.config keeps on repeating the message opening device detecting modem speed closing device... But now I have this latest entry in my bearerbox.log 2008-09-05 17:50:34 [15712] [0] INFO: ---------------------------------------- 2008-09-05 17:50:34 [15712] [0] INFO: Kannel bearerbox II version 1.4.1 starting 2008-09-05 17:50:34 [15712] [0] INFO: MAIN: Start-up done, entering mainloop 2008-09-05 17:50:34 [15712] [0] DEBUG: AT2[TSG]: start called 2008-09-05 17:50:34 [15712] [7] DEBUG: sms_router: time to sleep 30.00 secs. 2008-09-05 17:50:34 [15712] [7] DEBUG: sms_router: gwlist_len = 0 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15712] [5] INFO: Client connected from <127.0.0.1> 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15712] [5] DEBUG: Started thread 8 (gw/bb_boxc.c:function) 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15712] [8] DEBUG: Thread 8 (gw/bb_boxc.c:function) maps to pid 15712. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15712] [8] DEBUG: Started thread 9 (gw/bb_boxc.c:boxc_sender) 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15712] [9] DEBUG: Thread 9 (gw/bb_boxc.c:boxc_sender) maps to pid 15712. 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15712] [8] DEBUG: boxc_receiver: sms received 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15712] [8] DEBUG: send_msg: sending msg to box: <127.0.0.1> As for my smsbox.log, I had this when I tried to resend again, 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [0] DEBUG: Kannel smsbox version 1.4.1 starting 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [3] DEBUG: Thread 3 (gw/smsbox.c:sendsms_thread) maps to pid 15743. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [2] DEBUG: Thread 2 (gwlib/http.c:server_thread) maps to pid 15743. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [1] DEBUG: Thread 1 (gwlib/fdset.c:poller) maps to pid 15743. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [0] DEBUG: Started thread 4 (gw/smsbox.c:obey_request_thread) 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [0] DEBUG: Started thread 5 (gw/smsbox.c:url_result_thread) 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [5] DEBUG: Thread 5 (gw/smsbox.c:url_result_thread) maps to pid 15743. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [0] DEBUG: Started thread 6 (gw/smsbox.c:http_queue_thread) 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [0] INFO: Connected to bearerbox at 127.0.0.1 port 15001. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [0] DEBUG: Started thread 7 (gw/heartbeat.c:heartbeat_thread) 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [4] DEBUG: Thread 4 (gw/smsbox.c:obey_request_thread) maps to pid 15743. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [6] DEBUG: Thread 6 (gw/smsbox.c:http_queue_thread) maps to pid 15743. 2008-09-05 17:55:22 [15743] [7] DEBUG: Thread 7 (gw/heartbeat.c:heartbeat_thread) maps to pid 15743. 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [2] DEBUG: HTTP: Creating HTTPClient for `10.101.5.99'. 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [2] DEBUG: HTTP: Created HTTPClient area 0xa11a8a0. 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [3] INFO: smsbox: Got HTTP request </cgi-bin/sendsms> from <10.101.5.99> 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [3] INFO: sendsms used by <tester> 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [3] INFO: sendsms sender:<tester:09089873696> (10.101.5.99) to:<09156000795> msg:<Hello world> 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [3] DEBUG: Stored UUID 8a06c775-c094-4b79-aa66-5e162a53d1b9 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [3] DEBUG: message length 11, sending 1 messages 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [3] DEBUG: Status: 202 Answer: <Sent.> 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [3] DEBUG: Delayed reply - wait for bearerbox 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [0] DEBUG: Got ACK (0) of 8a06c775-c094-4b79-aa66-5e162a53d1b9 2008-09-05 17:56:44 [15743] [0] DEBUG: HTTP: Resetting HTTPClient for `10.101.5.99'. 2008-09-05 17:57:44 [15743] [1] DEBUG: Timeout for fd:24 appeares. 2008-09-05 17:57:44 [15743] [1] DEBUG: HTTP: Destroying HTTPClient area 0xa11a8a0. 2008-09-05 17:57:44 [15743] [1] DEBUG: HTTP: Destroying HTTPClient for `10.101.5.99'. Seems like the bearerbox can not send the message. smsbox sends the message to the bearerbox, bearerbox gets it and fails to send it to your gsm modem. Check your configuration of the gsm modem. Please send the bearerbox.log file so we can have a look at it too. BR, Jovan
