You can use WML (wireless markup language ) to develop a WAP site. but
i think now most of the phones , PDA's support normal html.
(firefox,safari browsers built in to mobile phones ) but u need to
adjust screen sizes/ contents.resolution.
when u use WAP kannel will translate (request) http->wsp , then for the
response wsp-->http. This is what gateway is doing.
I think WAP is outdated ( this is questionable this is my view). WML is
not like normal XML. it has some strict coding/tagging conventions.
you can build rich contents using dynamic scripting b'cos mobiles can
render most of the things now . video contents, streaming,adobe plug-ins
also there
