Hi,

Falko is right. "HOST" is hardly a legitimate DNS/hostname entry. However, I
don't think this is your problem here. Socket was opened (71), and therefore
HOST is propably defined in your /etc/hosts file.

I am afraid, though, that kannel cannot do anything in this case. Problem is
with your HOST webserver. The socket is accepted and openned. The request was
written correctly, and when reading the response, HOST drops the connection.
Check his logs for any errors. Possible problems could be: too many open
connections, too many fds, etc. Depends on your web server (lighttpd, apache,
etc.).

BR,
Nikos

    <http://HOST/dlr.php?ID=3213123124131>

  Does the log really say "HOST"? Then you *maybe* should enter a valid
address...

    Dears,

    I get the following error in my logs,

    2009-05-08 11:12:26 [10838] [8] ERROR: Error reading from fd 71:
    2009-05-08 11:12:26 [10838] [8] ERROR: System error 104: Connection reset
by peer
    2009-05-08 11:12:26 [10838] [8] ERROR: Couldn't fetch
<http://HOST/dlr.php?ID=3213123124131>

    can you please advice what is the problem, and how can I let kannel retry
to fetch the DLR url again, if there are any problems.

    Thanks.

    Regards.
    Hafez
