problem is that it's looks like bb will not put that dlr into queue and
then will not retry at 30". Outage of smppclient (all is simulated
enviroment and situation, to test opensmpp) was 2 minutes. so immediate
after connection of smppclient should smpp server, in that case
opensmppbox acting as smpp proxy, sned queued MO msgs, including that
with DLR type. Ok, i know, that opensmppbox probably can not query bb
about waiting MO messages, but bb should send it to opensmppbox after
next MT will came from smpp client. and that's not happend.
and to your question about why i can not keep smppclient always on. Coz
that's not possible in real world. Network issues, maintenence issues of
network providers, cielnts (smaller companies) connected with wifi and
then some packet lost, and so and so and so... that's real network
world. No connection is ideal. But is better to handle what we can. To
get opensmppbox to next level.

you need at least an SMS send from that smppclient. Lastly, why don't
you keep your smppclient always on? Opensmppbox was not designed for
such operation.

at firts, thank you for reply. can u tell me what retry scheme is there?
I was not able to find it in docs. coz within more than 2 hours after
reconnection, that dlr was not came to smppclient connected to
opensmppbox.

Message in this case is discarded? should be queued to be delivered
later, when opensmppbox connect to bb again. coz opensmppbox make
connection to bb only when have active client.

went something wrong:
Scenario 1 - strange behaviour
1) smpp client log to opensmppbox
2) smppclient send sms with dlrmask=19 (expecting ack, fail,
delivered)
3) target mobile is offline
4) smppclient lost connection to opensmppbox (simulated network issue)
5) target came online, sms was delivered, kannel got DELIVRD DLR
6) after 1-2 minutes came smppclient back online, and successfuly
connected to opensmppbox, but no dlr will came.
Scenario 2 - correct behaviour
1) smpp client log to opensmppbox
2) smppclient send sms with dlrmask=19 (expecting ack, fail,
delivered)
3) target mobile is offline
4) smppclient lost connection to opensmppbox (simulated network issue)
5) after 1-2 minutes came smppclient back online, and successfuly
connected to opensmppbox
6) target came online, sms was delivered, kannel got DELIVRD DLR
7) smppclient recieved succesfully DLR from opensmsbox.
Did someone noticed scenario 1 ? Any idea how to fix it?
