I've looked through the UG, and didn't see anything specifically related to this issue.. unfortunately I'm not finding a lot of details about setting up the BenQ modems specifically other than other people have gotten them to work.. I had this working before with an older serial MultiTech modem, and didn't encounter these issues then.
