Hello Neo, The username and password provided for you by the network operators is not for send-sms group. It is to be part of your smsc group's smsc-username and smsc-password. I believe they also give you an IP address for the SMSC, the three goes to the smsc group definition. So it should be in that part of your kannel.conf (or other name you might give it) that reads:
group = smsc smsc = smpp .... ....
