OpenSMPPBox can be connected to smsbox or sqlbox, not bearerbox directly. bearerbox is used to operate with smsc connections, whilst smsbox or sqlbox used to send messages.
OpenSMPPBox acts like a proxy, it's not a standalone server, so it needs to be connected either to smsbox or sqlbox. There is just a confusion due used variables in the configuration file I think.. Correct me If I am wrong. In the configuration example posted by Christopher OpenSMPPBox is connected to SQLBox: >group = opensmppbox > opensmppbox-id = send_hsl_smpp > opensmppbox-port = 12090 > bearerbox-host = localhost *> bearerbox-port = *12005* * > group = sqlbox > id = send_sqlbox > smsbox-id = send_sqlbox > bearerbox-host = localhost > bearerbox-port = *12001* *> smsbox-port = *12005** > smsbox-port-ssl = false 2012/8/7 Milan P.
