Hi.

In trying to solve the "PANIC: SQLBOX: MSSql: connection settings for id
'sqlbox-db' are not specified!" problem with the Debian packaged kannel 1.4.4,
I'm looking at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45486238/kannel-sqlbox which
suggests that:

a) building from source is the solution, and

b) you have to use 1.5.0 source code

However, looking at the 1.5.0 source tree, I see no file datestamps more recent
than 20th October 2010.

The source tree for version 1.4.4 has files up to 1st August 2014

The source tree for version 1.4.5 has files up to 19th June 2018

So, 1.5.0 is a development version, and hasn't been touched since October
2010.

1.4.4 is a stable version, last worked on in August 2014, and 1.4.5 is a
stable version last worked on in June 2018.

What?

Can anyone tell me:

a) which is the latest, most up-to-date version of the code which is likely to
work (I think I can guess that for myself, but I'd like to ask in case others
have better information than I do)?

b) which is the recommended version to run to avoid the problem related at the
top of this email?

If nobody knows, of course I'll ask on the developers' list, but I guess this
sort of thing has hit plenty of average users before me?

Thanks,

Antony.
