Agree with Chad. We shouldn't keep coupling OpenSAF with TIPC too close as it would lead to making the portability of OpenSAF to non-TIPC based transport even more difficult. The AvD-AvND heart-beating mechanism actually maintains the cluster membership in OpenSAF. So we need to be ultra-careful before making this dependent on a particular transport feature like the TIPC topology service. Sayan
