Hi Simon, the PHP library interop initiative aims to allow one common autoloader (that might eventually be implemented in PHP itself) that can be used across compliant projects, and eventually other links like a standard Exceptions structure so different libraries can access each other more easily.
It's not about interoperability on a functional level or the ability for users to simply swap out one framework for the other in their applications.
Hope that clarifies it a bit, - David On 29.10.2009, at 11:36, Simon Holywell wrote:
Hi all, http://rad-dev.org/lithium/wiki/blog/and-were-baaaackWas just reading through this post about Lithium/Cake3 and it mentioned Agavi and interoperable code between frameworks. Is this something that is being worked on at the moment in Agavi? Secondly does anyone have an comments on Lithium? Thanks, Simon -- Simon Holywell http://www.simonholywell.com _______________________________________________ users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.agavi.org/mailman/listinfo/users
