Hello Trying to install CHIRP on an ASUS Chromebook with a Debian GNU 11 Bullseye Linux environment. Installation instructions on the website followed. Running "$ pipx install --system-site-packages ./chirp-20240614-py3-none-any.whl" results with " Unable to parse package spec: ./chirp-20240614-py3-none-any.whl". I have moved the "chirp-20240614-py3-none-any.whl" to different directories with no success. Python 3.9.2. wxPython 4.0.7. CHIRP worked on this device until it stopped updating with an incorrect Python version message. I reset the Linux environment and reinstalled CHIRP, no love. Everything else works. The Linux "environment" is tough to work with, I would appreciate any help. Thanks Ron B *WatermanAtWork Website <http://www.watermanatwork.com>* - *Blog* <http://watermanatwork.com/blog/> - *KK7DTK* _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.chirpmyradio.com/postorius/lists/users.lists.chirpmyradio.com To unsubscribe, send an email to [email protected] To report this email as off-topic, please email [email protected] List archives: https://lists.chirpmyradio.com/hyperkitty/list/[email protected]/
