I’ll start over. I have a TYT-TH8600 that I hoped was supported by chirp. From requests I’ve found from others, I was lead here:
https://chirpmyradio.com/issues/4851 After looking through the posts, I saw the posted .py file and wondered if simply running that in my terminal “python3 th8600.py” would enable what it seems like some developers have built to support the TH8600. What steps did I miss?
