Like Jim, it works fine for me as well and I have heard no other such complaints. We really can't provide any useful help by just guessing about what your problem might be. Please file a bug, and attach your debug log: https://www.chirpmyradio.com/projects/chirp/wiki/How_to_report_issues#Getting-your-debug-log That will tell us if it's something chirp-related or not. If not, you probably need to check other things on your system. Nothing has changed in the CHIRP UI in recent months that could cause anything like this, so it's much more likely that there's something else on your system causing you trouble (or the system itself). So please, file a bug, attach the debug log and we'll take a look.
