You can download, install and manually select the older Prolific v3.2.0.0 driver. However this is only a temporary fix. Windows 10 and Windows 11 will eventually perform and update and replace the needed driver with the latest version and you will have to repeat the process. The best "fix" is to replace your programming cable with one that was manufactured with a USB-to-Serial chip from a chip vendor other than Prolific (FTDI, Silicon Labs, WCH, etc).
