I'm pretty sure if you can talk him thru the process Chirp can import the 10m 
and 6m, as well as 2m and 70cm repeaters into his radio's memories.

Are you SURE the repeaters weren't included in the default load from Icom that 
shipped installed in the radio? It's a long shot, but Icom did a grab from 
RadioReference, I believe, to populate the memories... I've never looked, but 
maybe...

Chirp has a facility to 'download' repeater frequencies from RepeaterBook (as I 
recall).
