I have had my Baofeng UV-5R for over ten years now, but only used CHIRP for the first time last week.
I also tried it with my Bajeton BJ-7800. There is no listing that it is supported, but a lot of folk said it is the same as the Radtel RT-920. I selected that from the supported radios and it worked just fine. Retrieved the file from the radio and uploaded the number channel plan to the radio. Works perfectly so far. I did try selecting a couple of other Radtel radios and the Baofeng UV-5R, but CHIRP would not detect the Bajeton.
