It is 'sudo yum install git'. We will have the IRC sessions logged, so you can go through them if you are unable to attend the same. You can still participate in the projects with our wikis, and this mailing list if you are unable to attend the IRC sessions. Learning to use different F/OSS communication tools (mailing list, IRC, wiki, et. al.) is important in this context.
