I have modified the Makefile to do two things: 1. Be able to rsync a Fedora mirror website to a local copy. 2. Be able to rsync an external disk mirror to a local copy. Please check the latest from: git clone git://gitorious.org/fedx/mainline.git I have used the above to create a local Fedora 12 offline repository. rpm.livna.org doesn't have rsync, but only FTP and HTTP, so have not included that. Unlike Fedora 11 offline repository that took 29 GB, Fedora 12 offline repository for i386 takes only 23 GB. I assume this is due to the change from gzip to LZMA compression. @rtnpro: Please merge your clone with the latest changes. Everyone is welcome to test it, and give feedback.
