Sorry to interject but isn't this getting a bit ridiculous ? Being
unable to do work because of examinations is absolutely fine, but
forgetting to update (or, asking someone else to update on his/her
behalf. In these days of SMS, is access to internet the only blocker
?) denotes a lack of basic courtesy. I find it bewildering that
future-employees would comfortably lack basic decency and skills that
make people want to spend their time talking with them or, being
involved with them.
