sorry mbuf , well i meant to say the git directory i got after git
clonei got in my system /home/kaushik/kstars well this are the steps i
followed

1. well i created ~/.gitconfig by git config --global user.name/email commands
2.than i used git clone git://anongit.kde.org/kstars
3.after that i created a branch experiment by git branch command
4.i tried to build the project with cmake
5.than i tried to edit some file and saved it (experimental purpose)

i executed a command mv /home/kaushik /tmp/kaushik from than i am
