Hello everyone, Welcome to the Summer Training 2019. The training sessions will start from 16th of June. But, before it starts, there are few more steps to make sure that we all are ready. Please go through the following steps and make sure you are ready for the first session.
# Step 1: Get a latest Linux system It can be your primary system (laptop or desktop). If you are totally new to Linux, then try to install it on Virtualbox in your regular Windows as a virtual machine. Tip: if you don't know how to do that, search on Internet, there are many tutorials which will guide you. # Step 2: Read about emails and how to reply to a mailing list [0] contains a few basic rules, we will learn more during the sessions. # Step 3: Connect to IRC This is a very important point, Please go through [1] document and register a nickname. You will need a registered nickname and also have to identify yourself to the server to attend the sessions. If you need help, write back to this thread (as an inline reply).
