Thanks Kari,

I was able to boot the live image; I noticed that the touch pad doesn't
work, however I have a mouse as a temporary until I can manage to get the
appropriate drivers installed or modify or installed a newer kernel with
the supported drivers.

You mentioned that I will have remove nomodset from the kernel command line
or create an xorg.conf file. I assume it will be okay if I install Nvidia
drivers may create the xorg.conf file.

Thanks again for your response I am a few steps closer to having Fedora on
my laptop.
