it belches out:
Error getting authority: Error initializing authority: Could not
connect: No such file or directory (g-io-error-quark, 1)

.
.
a few more lines about some other activity ...
and the system does not proceed any further.
SO how can I debug this, or is this the normal behavior?
If normal, since which release?
