sagemath probably has a dependency on an earlier perl, so when you try
to update perl, it complains. The package needs to be rebuilt with the
latest perl as a dependency. You could open a bugzilla requesting this.

You could uninstall sagemath, update, download the sagemath src.rpm, and
build it with the new perl, and then re-install it as a workaround.

The ticket is probably easier.
