Possibly. I'm replying in Hyperkitty to check this. FWIW, I agree with Samuel that you've probably not waited long enough for the nVidia drivers to be rebuilt. This takes a bit longer than usual at the end of an upgrade. You should also check /var/cache to see if you have an akmods directory.
