One more thing, shot in the dark, you may want to try is check the selinux labels on the system As root issue the command fixfiles check /home and/or fixfiles check / (this will result in warning and other bits of no consequence so that'll have to be sorted. or you can fixfiles onboot and then just reboot to relabel the entire file systems And then see if the second user you created is any better. -- Fedora Users List - The place to go to speculate endlessly
