Glad things worked out. Just for info sake, my first line rescue go to has been http://www.system-rescue-cd.org/ It is simple, fast, and usually boots on any x86 system I have tried. Has tools to get you going and seems to stay focused on recovery assets. It starts in cli but has a GUI if you need one. Give it a look and keep it handy. -- Fred
