On a related topic, what can be recommended for archival storage -- decades or maybe even centuries? Magnetic disks and tape lose data, so do CDROMS, and flash memory, cloud backup requires reliable payment and providers can go out of business, technologies change, etc. Is anything better than printouts on archival quality paper?
