I already fell back to my "Backup Browser"...which is just a plain no
frills GNome Web". So far?....all is well, I'm not crawling anymore, and
I can get work done. I'll just camp out here with this browser and
whenever the devs fix whatever's wrong with FF, then I'll make the move
back....but for now I'm good. Thanks for the suggestion!!
Cheers!

Been noticing the same thing on my F30 system as well....I don't
think its Fedora....I think its Mozilla's Firefox, this behavior also
has hit my OpenSuSE and my CEntOS laptops....something is eating up
the RAM on them when Firefox is running...and it seems to go back to
being snappy and fast once I close and then reopen FF, but after a
few minutes?.....it slows down again.
Seems to me Firefox has had a lot of problems lately.
Go to brave.com and install the Brave Browser. It will
import your Firefox settings. I use both. One give me
grief, I switch to the other. Great for figuring out
if the problem is the browser, the Internet, the web
page, or the OS.
