Very simple approach: Increase the limit. I always bump mine up to
about 6. I could easily install some kernel, and not encounter a bug
in in for quite some time. Likewise with a prior kernel. Having more
to backtrack through gives you more debugging options.
Mine was at 8, now it is at 18, so as long as I keep track I won't lose
my important kernels. That wasn't my question. My question is how to
protect 2 kernels from being erased.
