That's a user problem. If you send an unintended private mail, you ask the recipient to ignore it, and then send the right one to the mailing list. Just like with top-posting, they should enforce against the behavior they don't want. The problem is not in the system. > 2. That's because either they are stupid or their system is stupid, and their MUA is not right. In Feodra's case mailman is used, which has the option: "Avoid duplicate copies of messages?" You seem to have it on by default.
