By default, Super+L should be the shoutcut for screenlock. In your
case, if you didn't change the shoutcut, that means your screen lock is
not working at all.

What DE (desktop environment, e.g. Gnome, KDE...), DM (Display Manager,
the program that askes you your password when login, e.g. GDM, SDDM...)
and Session type (can be acquired by echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE) are you
currently on?
