Everyone will have their own favourite. In may case it's Evolution,
which I've been using for over 10 years. It's an integral part of
Gnome
(though I run it under KDE/Plasma). The principal developer uses
Fedora
and is very responsive to bug reports and queries:

It was a toss up for Geary and Evolution. I read in
the Fedora magazine that Evolution did not have great
iMap resources, so I went with Geary.
I've no idea what that means. Could you provide a reference? Evolution
has extensive IMAP support, in fact it's primarily an IMAP client
although it also supports POP and EWS.
