If all fails, I've used VPN Unlimited from Ukrainians at Keepsolid and it has worked flawlessly, on Ubuntu and Debian. It has the bonus that a percentage of the proceeds goes to the Ukraine military to defend themselves against the Russian invasion. Plus, it's lifetime plan is truly lifetime.
