I wonder if a selinux relabeling would help ?

in an terminal:
sudo touch /.autorelabel;
and
a reboot (with a running kernel)
and
then with the faulty kernel again
There's no indication of an selinux problem. How would that be relevant
when a different kernel boots fine?
