I'm not a great Python developer (hell, I'm not a developer), but I'm workmanlike. If I can create some time, and you're interested, I'll drop you a line off-list. We can maybe throw up a public Github repo/project and start to build something simple. If anyone else is interested in contributing, please let me know (off-list is probably best from a signal:noise perspective).
