The Users list doesn't require a login, so none of that is really
relevant. The list traffic would have still been sent to your old email
address until it started bouncing (unless that address is still valid
of course) and subsequently will have been automatically silenced by
the list manager.

I've really no idea (though Gmail might have something to do with it),
but I'd bet serious money that upgrading to F43 as such is not the
culprit unless you changed something else.
