HI,I guess the Subject line states the question, but I have a bunch of Dell laptops and was wondering if it is possible to set the battery to charge up to 80 or 90%? I am on Fedora 42 but will graduate to Fedora 43 at the end of this month (have been traveling and I want to be home to try an upgrade).
Other replies discuss various Gnome and KDE settings. However on at least some hardware this appears to be out of the operating system's hands, and is controlled by the firmware.
On my Framework 13 laptops I set the maximum charging level in the BIOS, and that's what sticks to the wall.
