Well, it's text-based menu driven, e.g., you use the cursor keys or VI
command keys (hjkl), messages can be displayed in threads, etc. Not mouse
oriented, but still not _that_ primitive.
...I think only a DIE hard techie would opt
for such a thing! I cannot see the reason for or a situation where
something like that would come in handy!....curious!
It's probably not something many people would pick up today, but it's got
real advantages if you need them. It's incredibly flexible, especially for
handling huge numbers of messages. It's almost impossible to inadvertently
open a bad URL, since they're displayed for you in text mode; but you can
view HTML mail if you wish.

Cool! Thank you all for the info....I'm in the process of trying to
"upgrade" myself.......learn a programming language...(stuck trying to
decide if I want to go the C, C#, C++ route...or the Python
way)!.....any tips there?...
