There have been problems with kswapd in 3.7 kernels, though I haven't
seen it on 3.6 kernels.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=866988 is tracking the issue
for 3.7 kernels. Maybe what you are seeing is related.
