Is there any way to "disable" the (non-functional) built-in WiFi card so

these instruction did not (as far as I could tell) mesh with the Fedora

running. Can anyone tell me how to do what I want under Fedora?

I have an earlier model, the L350. There's a switch on the front that turns the WiFi card on and off. Have you checked to see if there's one on yours?

Just checked; as far as I can see, the answer is no; there is no such switch.
