Most probably, the only thing you need to install is the "kmod-nvidia" package from rpmfusion repo. It will pull in everything else you need. I never needed to run nvidia-xconfig or similar utilities, and I don't trust them to do a proper configuration. If you need to change resolution away from the optimal one (whatever reason be for wanting that), I suggest that you use xrandr. It is by far the most proper way to configure the display. You may want to familiarize yourself with "man xrandr".
