Fedora 20 x86_64, gnome shell I'm recording off my line input and it's coming in a bit hot so I'm using the gnome-shell control to drop it from 100% to "unamplified". It stays as long as the program runs but as soon as I close it (or when I reload the program, haven't checked) it resets to 100%.
