I think this question needs to go to the Fedora devel@ list, or maybe also kernel@ as a cross-post (explicitly mentioned from the outset it's a crosspost). Just because the crash doesn't occur in an out of tree module, doesn't mean that the out of tree module isn't instigating the problem though.
