Hi, as I understand, Genie uses three variables: InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.ManufacturerOUI, InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.ProductClass and InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.SerialNumber to generate DeviceID in form OUI-ProductClass-SerialNumber. Is it possible to change this behavior? I found out, that on certains CPE InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.ProductClass and InternetGatewayDevice.DeviceInfo.HardwareVersion changes within firmware upgrade - for example on earlier firmware version it was r57_09 and on newer it is R57_10 what makes Genie discover it as new device. It would be enough for me to have only OUI-SerialNumber combination for DeviceID. br, -- Michal |
