I figured out what I did wrong with my upgrade:
As I use a SSD drive for main storage I never expanded the GENODE
partition on the usb-drive. Then in the inspect window I manually copied
the hypervisor and image.elf.gz file onto the stick and overlooked the
file-system-full errors in the log.
It's always good if it is that easy to fix.
