As this email was sending I managed to solve it! 1. In the recipe directory (e.g. <project>/recipe/api/<project-recipe>) create a hash file and populate it with the date that represents the version. 2. Run: "UPDATE_VERSIONS=1 FORCE=1 <genode-dir>/tool/depot/extract <depot-user>/api/<project-recipe>"
